About Maite Gaynicotche

Maite Gaynicotche is a senior associate at Dentons Jiménez de Aréchaga’s Montevideo office and a member of the firm’s banking and finance, corporate and data privacy practice groups. Maite provides advice on a daily basis to important financial institutions in a wide range of matters such as financings, due diligence processes for the acquisition of new entities, as well as in their most recent technological projects in the Uruguayan payment industry. Further to this, she advises these institutions in their stock market transactions and the according compliance with local regulations. She also participates in due diligence processes, analysing the regulatory and contractual aspects, as well as privacy and cybersecurity issues.
