About Matina Kagkelari

Matina Kagkelari is a partner and head of the structured transactions and capital markets practice at Sardelas Petsa Law Firm. She is a business lawyer with more than 20 years’ experience in capital markets, banking and finance law and regulation, including cross-border matters. She has been involved in numerous complex and structured DCM and ECM transactions, as well as in several securitisation transactions, mainly in the banking sector. Prior to joining Sardelas Petsa in 2021, Matina was a senior in-house adviser to a Greek systemic bank, as well as a senior lawyer at a leading law firm. She has also served as a deputy director of the legal services division at a non-systemic bank.
