About Matina Kagkelari

Matina Kagkelari is a senior associate at Sardelas Petsa Law Firm, and head of the structured transactions and capital markets practice. She has more than 20 years’ experience in capital markets, banking and finance law and regulation, including cross-border matters. She has been involved in numerous complex and structured DCM and ECM transactions, and in several securitisation transactions, mainly in the banking sector. Matina was previously a senior in-house adviser to a Greek systemic bank, and a senior lawyer at a leading law firm; she has also served as a deputy director of the legal services division at a non-systemic bank.
