About Giselle Pérez Reyes

Giselle Pérez Reyes is the head of the environment department of Guzmán Ariza and the firm’s main practitioner of environmental law, providing comprehensive advice for large-scale energy, solid waste, hydrocarbon, tourism and real estate projects on issues related to land use, the legal and environmental feasibility of master plans, and matters related to the community and social programmes, among others. She focuses on regulatory law, environmental authorisations, protected areas and projects with a high environmental impact, and also conducts audits in relation to environmental legal compliance in the construction and agribusiness sectors. Giselle is a pioneer in the practice of environmental law in the Dominican Republic and one of its most experienced practitioners.
