About Rebecca Hurst

Rebecca Hurst is the managing partner and a founder of Smith Hurst. She advises family offices, high net worth individuals, families, and closely held businesses on wealth preservation, governance, business planning, real estate, tax-exempt organisations, and private wealth planning. She often serves as outside general counsel to family office clients and advises on asset protection, M&A, securities, venture capital, and private placements. Rebecca holds an LLM in Taxation from New York University. She has taught Federal Estate and Gift Tax and Estate Planning at the University of Arkansas School of Law since 2007.
