About Nikolaos Koulocheris

Nikolaos Koulocheris is a co-founding partner of Machas & Partners and head of real estate & project development. He has extensive experience in complex real estate transactions, privatisations and project development, with a focus on infrastructure and utilities. Nikolaos has managed major real estate privatisation projects, including the Ellinikon project for the Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund. Formerly, he served as Secretary General of Economic Policy at the Ministry of Finance, overseeing state aid, privatisations and corporate governance reforms, including the drafting of Law 4972/2022. Nikolaos has been a member of the Athens Bar Association since 1998, is licensed to practise before Greece’s Supreme Court, and holds an LL.M. in Labour Law from the University of Nuremberg.
