About José Alejandro Vivas

José Alejandro Vivas is a qualified attorney (JD) from the Universidad Del Rosario with a tax law specialisation. Mr Vivas Velásquez is an associate at Holland & Knight’s Bogotá Office with more than eight years of experience and focuses his practice in local and international tax planning, and tax litigation. He has assisted local and international clients in tax controversies before the Colombian Tax Authority (DIAN) and various Colombian municipalities. He has also participated in transactions including negotiation of SPAs, SHAs and indemnities. He is a member of the Colombian Institute of Tax Law and the International Fiscal Association.
