About Ellie Harrison

Ellie Harrison is a partner within Wynn Williams’ dispute resolution team, specialising in regulatory and insurance litigation. She is an experienced trial lawyer, having appeared in a range of New Zealand courts and tribunals. In the insurance field, Ellie acts for local and international insurers directly, and is appointed by insurers as defence counsel, with a specialty in professional indemnity and statutory liability issues. Ellie’s statutory liability work comprises regulatory prosecutions, coronial inquests and commissions of inquiry. She has been involved in numerous complex, multi-defendant investigations and prosecutions (particularly in the areas of health and safety, environmental law and antitrust).
