About Ellie Harrison

Ellie Harrison is a partner in Wynn Williams’ dispute resolution team, specialising in regulatory and insurance litigation. She is an experienced trial lawyer, having appeared in a range of New Zealand courts and tribunals. In the insurance field, Ellie acts for local and international insurers directly and is appointed by insurers as defence counsel, with a specialty in professional indemnity and statutory liability issues (in particular, regulatory prosecutions and commissions of inquiry). She has been involved in numerous complex, multi-defendant investigations and prosecutions (particularly in the areas of financial regulation, environmental law and health and safety).
