Chris Watters
is a practising attorney who was admitted to the profession in 1985. In 2003-2005, he was appointed by the South African Cabinet as an immigration law expert to the Immigration Advisory Board advising the Minister of Home Affairs. He has also served on immigration law committees of the Law Society. In 2016, Chris was part of a panel of experts advising the Minister of Home Affairs on fixes to work and business visas. For over ten years, he presented Law Society immigration law seminars for attorneys. He has also submitted a number of papers to the International Bar Association and the Commonwealth Lawyers Association conferences, among others.
