About Pieter Leerink

Pieter Leerink is a partner at JPR Advocaten and specialises in Dutch insurance law. He advises and represents insurers and policyholders in all kinds of coverage disputes. Pieter obtained his PhD with the dissertation “Payment of premium in insurance law” and is the co-author of the Dutch casebook “Insurance Law”. He has written many articles on Dutch insurance law, and regularly teaches insurance law matters to judges, lawyers, insurers and insurance brokers. Pieter is also a deputy judge at The Hague Court of Appeal, especially appointed for insurance law disputes.
