About Syed Ali Bin Maaz

Syed Ali Bin Maaz is an advocate of the High Courts in Pakistan and has extensive experience in corporate and commercial matters, with a strong focus on M&A and project finance transactions. Ali’s practice includes acting in commercial transactions, contentious and non-contentious, both domestic and trans-border, including project finance, joint ventures, foreign investment, M&A, domestic and global capital markets transactions, and foreign and domestic debt and equity financings. Ali also acts for major clients in the energy and natural resources sectors. Most recently, he led the team in acting for a global commodities trading company in its acquisition of a 50% stake in one of the largest oil marketing companies in Pakistan.
