Carlos Ibarra
is a founding partner at Ibarra del Paso Gallego, specialising in real estate and hospitality transactions. With more than 25 years of experience, he advises foreign and domestic investors on acquiring, leasing and developing real estate properties across industrial, commercial, residential, hospitality and infrastructure sectors. Carlos is licensed to practice law in Mexico, New York, and California. He holds an LLM from Georgetown University as a Fulbright Scholar and is recognised as an expert in real estate law by Chambers and Partners (amongst other legal rankings). He is also a frequent speaker, professor and published author on legal and investment topics in Mexico and Latin America. He is the current Chief Mission Advancement for the Mexico District Council of the Urban Land Institute, General Counsel for EMA Electro Movilidad Asociación and Chair for Law Rocks Mexico.
