Daniel García Barragán López
is a dually qualified (New York and Mexico) specialist in international arbitration, with extensive experience as both arbitrator and counsel. He has served as arbitrator (including as presiding and sole arbitrator) in numerous international and domestic arbitrations under ICC and CANACO rules, handling disputes across the energy, infrastructure, maritime and construction sectors. He also represents parties in high-stakes disputes, including ICSID investment arbitrations. Daniel is a member of Mexico’s delegation to UNCITRAL’s Working Group on Arbitration and Conciliation and ICC Mexico’s delegate to the ICC Global Arbitration Commission, and a faculty member at the National Autonomous University of Mexico and Escuela Libre de Derecho. He gained international experience as an associate at Chadbourne & Parke in New York City.
