About Matthias Reuleaux

Matthias Reuleaux is an of counsel in activelaw’s aviation practice group. Until 2024, he was managing director and chief legal counsel in the Aircraft Finance Department of Norddeutsche Landesbank (NORD/LB). He was the chairman of the aircraft finance committee of the German Covered Bond Association (2009-2020) and acted as industry expert and adviser in legislative procedures. He regularly speaks at conferences and seminars and has published many articles in banking and air law journals. Matthias is a member of the Advisory Board of the The Hague Court of Arbitration for Aviation. At activelaw, he advises leasing banks and commercial aircraft operators on aircraft financing and secured lending transactions.
