About Gustavo da Rocha Schmidt

Gustavo da Rocha Schmidt is a founding partner at SLK and heads the firm’s dispute resolution practice. He is a law professor at Fundação Getúlio Vargas Rio de Janeiro, where he obtained his MSc and where he is currently a PhD candidate. He also holds a master of laws degree from New York University. Gustavo is serving his third consecutive three-year term as the president of one of Brazil’s most prominent ADR centres – Centro Brasileiro de Mediação e Arbitragem (CBMA). He specialises in complex litigation and his areas of practice include administrative and regulatory law, civil and commercial litigation, civil liability, and arbitration.
