About Maria Chiara Malaguti

Maria Chiara Malaguti is of counsel at PedersoliGattai. She is a full professor of International Law at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Milan/Rome, Italy), where she teaches Trade Law and International Law and Economics. She specialises and acts as an adviser in international and EU law applied to financial markets, in international investment law, and acts as arbitrator and counsel in international commercial and investment arbitration. She has authored numerous publications on financial markets, investment law and arbitration, unification of law, sovereign debt, and international commerce. Maria Chiara was appointed as the Italian delegate to the ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR for the 2024–2027 term, and as President of the Italian ICC Nomination Committee from 2025.
