About Joris Crone

Joris Crone is an attorney at law at Kalff Katz & Franssen. During his studies, Joris focused on Europe’s gaming and gambling sector, and finished his academic career with a Master’s thesis on harmonisation and online gambling, titled “Folding the Better Hand: Harmonisation of Law and Online Gambling in the European Union”. Joris advises gambling operators and other stakeholders on Dutch gambling law and regulations, including assisting remote gambling operators with the submission of their licence applications. His work focuses on developments in relation to advertising in the Netherlands, and also covers regulatory developments in other areas, such as the levy of gambling tax, addiction prevention and games of skill.
