About Luis Carlos Dias Torres

Luis Carlos Dias Torres is the managing partner at Torres, Falavigna e Vainer. He graduated in Law from the University of São Paulo (USP) in 1994. He was a member of the Prerogatives Council of the Brazilian Bar Association from 2008 to 2019 and a member of the OAB Ethics Court from 2016 to 2018. He was recognised by Chambers in Dispute Resolution: White-Collar Crime from 2013 to 2021 and again in 2025. He is the co-author of Penal Code Interpreted Article by Article, Paragraph by Paragraph, published by Manole, as well as Repatriation of Resources, and Domestic Violence, both published by Imperium. Most recently, he co-authored Violence Against Elderly People, published in 2024 by Imperium.
