About Simon Gabriel

Simon Gabriel is the founding partner at GABRIEL Arbitration. He has represented clients and served as president, sole arbitrator and co-arbitrator in over 120 ICC, Swiss Rules, VIAC, DIS, SCC and ad hoc arbitration proceedings. He is experienced in disputes concerning construction joint ventures, energy-related issues, international sales contracts, licensing contracts, and post-M&A issues. Simon is President of the Swiss ICC Arbitration Commission, Swiss delegate in the ICC Arbitration and ADR Commission in Paris, and a member of the latest Working Group on the Revision of the Vienna Rules. He has published widely in the field of international arbitration and holds a PhD on liability of mediators and an LLM in common law advocacy.
