Gaurav Bansal is a partner in the competition practice group at AZB & Partners and is based in Mumbai. Gaurav has over ten years of experience and advises on all aspects of competition law. He has previously worked in-house at Tata Group. His experience cuts across multiple industries, including automotive, airlines, FMCG, steel, digital markets, cement, telecommunications, information technology, and pharmaceuticals. He has advised clients on several high-profile cross-border and domestic merger filings in India, including Tata Group’s acquisition of Air India and Big Basket; and investment in JPL by Facebook, Google and several private equity investors and sovereign wealth funds.
