About Saloni Thakkar

Saloni Thakkar is a partner in the Mumbai office of AZB & Partners. She specialises in R&I and structured finance. She has advised and represented a wide range of clients – including insolvency professionals and administrators of various major financial service providers, global and domestic banks and credit funds, and bidders, and has been a lead on several “ahead-of-the-curve” deals, such as the restructuring of GTL Infrastructure, Essar group, RCOM, Jindal Steel and Power and GMR group companies. She has also participated in discussions of the Task Force by the Reserve Bank of India on the Development of Secondary Market for Corporate Loans.
