About Armando Betancor

Armando Betancor is a partner and head of the insolvency and restructuring practice area of the law firm Alas Legal Advisors, which he founded in 2009. For almost two decades he has advised bankruptcy trustees and national and international companies going through restructuring or insolvency proceedings. He is currently handling 100 proceedings including complex and high-profile cases of national and international relevance. Armando holds a degree in law (University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria), and a master’s in business law, urban planning and real estate law, and is member of the TMA, IBA, Spanish Club of Arbitration, and Insole Europe.
