About Laura Navarrete Hernández

Laura Navarrete Hernández leads Deloitte’s labour and employment Law Practice for Central America, Panama, and the Dominican Republic and has more than 13 years of experience advising employers on individual and collective labour law. She holds a law degree with honours from the University of Costa Rica and a master’s degree in labour law and labour relations from the University of Salamanca. Laura serves on the Board of Directors of Women in the Profession (Costa Rican chapter), a Cyrus R Vance Center initiative. She has taught labour and employment law at Fidélitas University and served as ombudsperson of Peace University, United Nations-mandated.
