Isabel Picot
is a partner at Galdino, Pimenta, Takemi, Ayoub, Salgueiro, Rezende de Almeida Advogados. She specialises in corporate and civil litigation, judicial reorganisation and restructuring proceedings, both in Brazil and abroad. She has participated in several successful in-court and out-of-court restructurings and served as expert witness in cross-border cases. Isabel holds a Master of Laws degree in International Dispute Resolution from Queen Mary University of London, as well as a Fellowship degree from the International Association of Restructuring, Insolvency & Bankruptcy Professionals. She is also a professor and co-ordinator of the LLM programme on corporate law of the law school of FGV Rio and president of the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation – Brazil.
