Prior to specialising in tax dispute, he was practicing as a litigation lawyer in the firm’s dispute resolution practice where he regularly advised and represented financial institutes in recovery, bankruptcy and winding-up proceedings. Presently, he primarily advises large corporations and multinational companies in various industries in respect of customs and indirect tax matters. He also handles income tax disputes and has represented taxpayers in the superior courts in Malaysia, including the Federal Court which is the apex court in the country.
