About Vinh Le Quang

Vinh Le Quang is an IP attorney accredited by the Intellectual Property Office of Vietnam (VNIPO), Copyright Office of Vietnam (COV), and Plant Variety Protection Office (PVPO), and has more than 24 years of experience. Vinh has extensive experience in both contentious and non-contentious IP matters regarding patent, design, trade mark, copyright, plant variety and domain name. His litigation experience includes representing a Vietnamese defendant against a US-based plaintiff’s patent infringement lawsuit claiming nearly USD5 million at an Hanoi-based court; and litigating in Ho Chi Minh city’s court regarding film copyright infringement in which the plaintiff asked for nearly USD2 million. In addition, Vinh has been involved in IP crime prosecution under Section 226, dealing with 3D trade mark infringement via administrative remedy, using border control against fake coffee export at the customs agency, and winning UDRP domain names before the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center.
