About Theo Pauthonier

Theo Pauthonier is an associate in Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer’s Dispute Resolution practice based in Düsseldorf. He specialises in complex cross-border dispute resolution, with a particular focus on commercial arbitration, investor-state arbitration and public international law. He has been involved in arbitrations under different rules including those of ICC, UNCITRAL, DIS and ICSID. He has experience with disputes in the construction, energy, mining, infrastructure and manufacturing sectors. Theo is a member of the Ukrainian Arbitration Association, DIS40 and ASA below 40. He is also a lecturer at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.
