She is an experienced lawyer, advising companies on all aspects of international trade and customs matters, including anti-dumping and other trade-remedy investigations in Brazil and abroad, World Trade Organization (WTO) agreements, Mercosur law, trade policy and related areas, preferential trade agreements, tariff classification, disputes and negotiations. Claudia earned her LL.M from the University of Michigan and worked as an international associate in a major US law firm in the international trade practice. After that, she concluded a practical training at the Brazilian Mission to the WTO, in Geneva, Switzerland, where she gained valuable hands-on experience in negotiations and dispute settlement cases involving Brazil.
