About María José Alcalde

María José Alcalde is a partner at Alcalde & Cía. Her practice concentrates on litigation and arbitration in civil, commercial, regulatory, infrastructure and construction matters. She has represented clients in domestic and international arbitrations, under the rules of the Santiago Chamber of Commerce and Mediation, ICC, LCIA, UNCITRAL, ad hoc arbitrations, among others. She has participated in proceedings under the Public Works Concessions Law, both before the Concessions Technical Panel (DAB) and Arbitral Commissions. Since 2020, María José has been teaching Procedural Law at the University of Santiago. She has been admitted to the Chilean Bar and New York State Bar.
