Myriam Eid
is head of MHLO’s arbitration and alternative dispute resolution practice and has extensive experience in the conducting of international arbitration proceedings, especially involving complex construction disputes. She frequently advises contractors and state entities on the resolution of complex disputes. She has been involved in a substantial number of international arbitration proceedings under different arbitration rules (ICC, LCIA, QICCA, SIAC, DIAC and CRCICA) and substantive laws (Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Egypt, Bahrain, the UAE, France and England and Wales). She has also led several arbitration proceedings where she managed the case from start to finish, including oral pleadings and cross-examinations.
