Stephen Jones is an experienced tax disputes practitioner with more than 35 years’ experience in tax controversy and advisory work. He has devoted approximately two thirds of his career to tax controversy, acting in disputes with the ATO arising from audit activity and in litigation before the Administrative Review Tribunal and the Federal Court. Stephen has appeared in significant matters involving Citigroup, TT Lines, Gloxinia Investments, Foxtel and the high-profile Chevron tax appeals. He represents multinationals, high net worth individuals and domestic companies in ATO reviews, audits and disputes, providing clear and commercially grounded guidance on complex tax issues.
