About Luis Alberto Aziz

Luis Alberto Aziz was part of the legal team during the negotiation of the North American Free Trade Agreement and founded the Mexican Arbitration Center (CAM) and Aklara (design and execution of auctions and competitive bids). He is currently a board member in public and private companies and has contributed to the community through his pro bono work over the past 25 years; he has been part of the JUCONI Foundation, and in 2018 he received the National Award for Voluntary and Solidarity Action from the Mexican government. Luis holds a Law degree with honours from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), and a Master’s in International Law and European Community Law from Georgetown University and the Collége d’Europe.
