About Grzegorz Materna

Grzegorz Materna is a solicitor at Hansberry Tomkiel and an associate professor at the Polish Academy of Sciences’ Institute of Law Studies. Prior to joining the firm, he was a director of the Polish Competition Authority’s competition protection department. As a practitioner and litigator, Grzegorz represents clients in proceedings before the Polish Competition Authority, the Polish courts, and the ECJ. He has written and collaborated on many publications concerning competition and consumer law, including commentaries on the Polish Competition Act and the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, as well as on the Digital Markets Act and the Digital Services Act.
