is a partner at Zurcher, Odio & Raven and the head of the banking and finance department. He concentrates his practice on banking, M&A, joint ventures, real estate and foreign investment. He has vast experience representing top-ranked financial institutions, with a deep understanding of the domestic and international banking market. His expertise includes syndicated and bilateral, secured and unsecured, and domestic and cross-border financing transactions. He also has extensive experience representing international financial institutions for domestic and multi-jurisdictional transactions, including the regulatory field. He focuses his practice on private equity and M&A, leading several cross-border transactions. Douglas represents financial institutions before the Costa Rican Banking Association, is a member of the Legal Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Costa Rica and a member of certain committees of the American Bar Association. He has written a number of articles on financial and legal issues.
