About Julian Barendse

Julian Barendse is an international corporate lawyer (qualified in Australia) with extensive cross-border experience across Asia. Since joining Myanmar Legal Mori Hamada Limited in 2020, Julian has focused on assisting investors with their investments in Myanmar and the broader Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) region. His experience includes cross-border transactions in a number of sectors – for example, oil and gas, logistics, infrastructure, and renewable energy – and advising in jurisdictions across the region, including Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, the Philippines, Australia, and New Zealand.
