About Omar Colomé
Omar Colomé
joined Asali in 2014 and became a partner in 2024. He specialises in complex litigation and arbitration involving maritime, corporate, financial, insurance, telecommunications, energy and natural resources disputes. He has acted as both counsel and arbitrator in proceedings under ICC, LCIA and CANACO rules, and has advised foreign investors in investment arbitrations against Mexico. Admitted in Mexico and New York, Omar holds an LLM from the University of Chicago and a JD from the Escuela Libre de Derecho. He previously worked with the ICC International Court of Arbitration in New York, and is a published author on arbitration law.
