About Berna Aytaç

Berna Aytaç is a TMT and data protection lawyer with over 12 years of experience advising global and local technology companies. A Bilkent University graduate, she holds an LLM in International Intellectual Property Law from Brunel University, where her dissertation focused on copyright liability of hosting providers in peer-to-peer systems. Currently leading the TMT law department at Özay Law Firm, her practice covers data protection, fintech, electronic communications, geolocation data, e-commerce, internet law, digital media, crypto-assets, and blockchain. She holds a CIPP/E certification and actively contributes to regulatory works in multiple associations and research groups.
