He advises on intellectual property issues, including trade marks, patents, industrial designs, trade names, geographical indications advisory and litigation, anti-counterfeiting advisory and litigation. He recognises the significant value of IP rights and takes a very practical view to resolving issues arising. His expertise also covers litigation, real estate matters, negotiation and drafting of commercial agreements; furthermore, he handles counterfeiting proceedings. Franklin holds a Certificate in General Courses on Intellectual Property delivered by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). He is a dual-qualified lawyer – admitted to practice in Cameroon and in The Gambia – and a certified World Bank Doing Business consultant.
