About Woorin Sung

Woorin Sung (partner) graduated from Korea Maritime & Ocean University with a degree in Navigation Science, joined STX Pan Ocean in 2008 and served for three years as a ship’s officer on cargo, container and oil tankers. He is among the few Korean attorneys with seafaring experience. His practice focuses on maritime accidents, including vessel sinkings, fires and collisions, and subsequent post-accident measures, as well as charterparty and carriage disputes, bills of lading and marine insurance. He advises public authorities and state-owned entities, including the MOF and port authorities, on shipping, logistics and maritime regulatory matters.
