Ms Shilpa Mankar Ahluwalia
is a partner and head of the Fintech group, Ms Ahluwalia has co-authored several publications for the International Law Office as an exclusive banking and finance correspondent for India. She has advised various companies, banks and financial institutions in connection with their financing activities (issues of bonds and non-convertible debentures, debt restructurings, plain vanilla and structured financings, loan syndication and guarantee structures, and securitisation structures). Ms Ahluwalia has also advised on specialised financial products such as factoring and mortgage guarantees. Further, she has advised several international companies and private equity funds in connection with their investments and operations in India (in financial services and other sectors), and several companies on their Fintech-related investments and product structuring. She holds an LLM degree from the Columbia University School of Law in New York and is a member of the Bar Council of Maharashtra and the New York State Bar Association.
