She has worked closely with the world’s largest technology, internet and social media companies and has led matters relating to data privacy, content regulation, intermediary liability, risk profiling of disruptive technologies, AI solutions in the healthcare sector, public procurement of technology, and others. Shahana has also been deeply involved with policy and regulatory issues both in India and in the United States, and has worked with a representative at the US Congress, where she engaged with expansive legislative and policy matters. Shahana holds an honours degree in Sociology from the University of Delhi, an LLB from the University of Warwick, and an LLM in International Legal Studies from Georgetown University Law Center.
