About Giselle Pérez Reyes

Giselle Pérez Reyes is a partner and head of the Environmental & Regulatory Law department at Guzmán Ariza. She leads the firm’s environmental law practice, advising on major energy, waste management, hydrocarbon, tourism, real estate and large-scale developments – from land-use and master-plan feasibility to community impact and social programme issues. Her expertise centres on regulatory law, environmental authorisations, protected areas and high-impact projects; she conducts environmental compliance audits in construction, agribusiness and other sectors. A pioneer of environmental law in the Dominican Republic, she ranks among the country’s most experienced practitioners, having co-ordinated multidisciplinary teams for complex environmental studies and litigation.
