María Virginia Ditrén Báez is senior counsel in Guzmán Ariza’s Environmental & Regulatory Law department, advising clients on complex environmental and policy matters across multiple high-impact industries. Her practice has a strong focus on the mining sector, where she supports companies in navigating environmental due diligence, regulatory compliance, permitting, community impact requirements and operational risk management. She counsels mining operators on the full life cycle of projects – from exploration and land-use feasibility to environmental monitoring and closure obligations.
