is a partner of the firm and provides legal advisory services in M&A, energy law, infrastructure and project finance, corporate governance and public procurement. She formerly headed the commercial section of the legal services department at Kenya’s largest power distribution company, and is highly experienced in areas including energy law, financial services and project finance. In addition, she is skilled in negotiating finance agreements with commercial banks as well as development finance institutions. Most notably, she was a key player on the part of the state-owned entity in the negotiated refinancing of USD500 million of its debt through a loan syndication facility which was partially guaranteed by the World Bank. She is a member of the Law Society of Kenya.
