About Sidharth Luthra

Sidharth Luthra was admitted to the Bar at Delhi in 1991 and designated as a Senior Advocate in 2007. He was appointed as Additional Solicitor General for India at the Supreme Court for two years in 2012, and has represented the Union and State Governments in a variety of matters, including those relating to fundamental rights, criminal law, juvenile rights, environmental laws, electoral reform, education and policy issues. He is a member of the National Legal Services Authority and a member of Editorial Board of Supreme Court Cases and its associated law reports. Sidharth teaches at the Delhi Judicial Academy and the National Judicial Academy, and holds honorary positions at several other teaching institutions. He is empanelled as an arbitrator with the Delhi International Arbitration Centre (DIAC).
