About Junko Asai

Junko Asai is an attorney-at-law at SHUSAKU·YAMAMOTO who provides legal services on a wide range of litigation, corporate matters, international commerce and treaties. Before joining the firm, she worked as a practising lawyer with expertise in litigation, arbitration and negotiation in Tokyo. She has frequently served as the lead counsel in large-scale lawsuits between multiple parties. Junko has also worked as a researcher at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, engaging in multilateral and bilateral negotiations from 2022 to 2023. She completed her master’s at the University of Pennsylvania School of Law and is admitted to the Bar in the State of New York as well as in Tokyo.
