About Elizabeth Suubi Nabugo

Elizabeth Suubi Nabugo is a junior associate at Engoru, Mutebi Advocates. She holds a Diploma in Legal Practice (Bar Course), Law Development Centre, Kampala and a Bachelor of Laws degree (LL.B.) (Hons) from the Uganda Christian University, Mukono. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb), Young ICSID, Young ICCA and ICC Young Arbitration and ADR Forum (YAAF). She has recently advised a Ugandan entity on an investment premised on a promissory note, a transaction which stood out for its innovative approach to financing, incorporating both the promissory note and a share swap, which are often not seen in the Ugandan market.
