is a senior partner. He is head of the firm’s infrastructure practice and co-head of its arbitration and mediation practice. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb) and chair of the CIArb Brazil Branch. He is in the roster of arbitrators of the most active Brazilian arbitral institutions. His practice as counsel, arbitrator, legal expert or consultant focuses on infrastructure projects, construction, regulated industries and public procurement, in domestic and international matters. He holds a doctorate in public law from PUC-SP and has been a visiting scholar at Columbia University and the University of Nottingham. He is a professor at IDP – Public Law Institute (Brasília) and is on the Editorial Board of the Public Procurement Law Review – PPLR (Nottingham).
