About Adedoyin Afun

Adedoyin Afun is a partner at Bloomfield LP and a thought leader on Nigerian shipping laws and practice. He has authored articles and papers in both Nigerian and international publications. He has advised extensively on issues in the integrated shipping/oil services sectors, including the structure/implementation of complex, multimillion-dollar transactions and projects, registration of ships, mortgages and other interests, port concessions, corporate restructuring, maritime claims/casualties, litigation, arbitration, and regulatory compliance. Adedoyin is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrator and a Fellow of the Business Recovery and Insolvency Practitioners Association of Nigeria. He was previously chairperson of the Maritime Committee Section on Business Law of the Nigerian Bar Association, publicity secretary of the Nigerian Maritime Law Association, and an officer at the Maritime and Transport Law Committee of the International Bar Association.
