About Deborah K. Marcuse

Deborah K. Marcuse is the firm managing partner and the office managing partner of the Baltimore office at Sanford Heisler Sharp. Deborah’s practice is focused on the discrimination and harassment, criminal/sexual violence and public interest practice areas, representing both individuals and classes. She was lead counsel in a landmark Title IX class action lawsuit against Dartmouth College brought on behalf of current and former female graduate students and undergraduates in Dartmouth’s Department of Psychology and Brain Sciences, culminating in a USD14 million settlement that included programmatic relief valued at an additional USD1.5 million. She has also been co-lead counsel in several high-profile class and individual cases on behalf of women partners and associates against global law firms.
