About John McKnight

John McKnight is a partner in the Washington, DC office at Sanford Heisler Sharp McKnight, where he is co-chair of the whistle-blower/qui tam practice group. John is representing the former chief security officer for Wells Fargo who assisted the US government in recovering USD3.5 billion in fines arising out of the Wells Fargo “fake account” scandal. He has previously represented corporate whistle-blowers who have exposed securities fraud, banking misconduct and government procurement fraud under the False Claims Act. He regularly writes about whistle-blower law in the context of emerging technologies, including the cryptocurrency market and cybersecurity.
